This is a good logical reasoning & that's the reality of it all

written by StevenO, January 28, 2010 13:48:23

Those were wildboar heads not your ordinary domesticated pig heads!! If those vandalism were cause by non-muslim, I am sure they would have bought those pig heads from the wet market for a few ringgits each. Why take all the troubles in going hunting for wildboar when you can buy it easily.

And think of the difficulty of getting hold of wildboar heads, not one but four of them!! Of course, if you are the same group of people who touched the churches, buying pig heads from the wet market will definitely give your identity away!

They are the same group who tried to provoke the Hindus with the cow head. When they failed to get any response, they started burning Churches! That too failed because the non-muslims know very well the consequence of a retaliation when you are a minority. Knowing well that, with the ruling elites hell bent on teaching you a lesson of not voting for them, for not giving in to their demand to retaliate would be asking for troubles!!

So, when all forms of provocation fail, they resort to this despicable act of treason against their own people by desecrating their own places of worship!!

Another Version to counter Mahathir's UMNObaru version

So, with due respect to Dr Mahathir, it was actually the other way around. Umno was the one that split the Malays. And now Umno grumbles that the opposition is splitting the Malays? And, worse still, Umno split the Malays to serve the British interest and as a British ‘running dog’.

Dr M blames PAS, PKR for dividing Malays

By Shazwan Mustafa Kamal, The Malaysian Insider

Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed delivered a history lesson on Malay unity today and blamed PAS and PKR for dividing the community because of what he claimed was their greed for power.

He also described PAS and PKR among many other Malay-based political parties as Umno splinter groups responsible for disrupting unity among Malays.

Speaking at the National Library today at a special “Bicara Perdana” talk, he said that it was a historical fact that the first political party which was united and fought against the British for Malay rights was Umno.

He added that it was the unity of the Malays in backing Umno that made the British pull out and abandon their plans for a Malayan Union at the end of World War Two.

The former PM pointed out that it was the Umno ulamas, who had split from the Malay nationalist party in the 1950s to form PAS.

This was because they were “dissatisfied” when they were not given positions within the state and federal legislatures, according to Dr. Mahathir.

“PAS, in the beginning, were ulamas from Umno. They were upset that they were not chosen in the legislative and state legislative assembly...more educated and English-speaking Malay leaders were chosen and they were not happy with this.

“If you get selected, you become a YB, and then you got paid RM300,” he said.

The former premier said that these ulamas went into seclusion, then formed a new party so that they could “contest” to become candidates.

“The split between the Malays started just because they wanted positions. That was when PAS was formed.

“Later on the same thing happened with Keadilan, as well as the now-defunct Semangat 46..all these were splinter groups from Umno.”

Dr Mahathir also defended the social contract, the so-called unwritten agreement between the Malays and the non-Malays during independence, by affirming that without the agreement, Malaysia would not have been formed.

“If there was no social contract, the terms and conditions of allowing citizenship to non-Malays would have not taken place. One million outsiders were given citizenships at the time.”

Mustapha Hussain: Malay Nationalism Before UMNO

THE MEMOIRS OF MUSTAPHA HUSSAIN, 1910-1957

KMM: The Young Malay Union (1938)

Dr Burhanuddin Al Helmi

Dr Burhanuddin, a colossal name in Malay left politics, was not a KMM member. KMM only contacted him a week after the fall of Singapore. Ibrahim Yaakub and I interviewed him before suggesting that the Japanese Military Administration employ him as Advisor on Malay Customs and Religion. Dr Burhanuddin accepted the post graciously. Had he declined, KMM would have brought in Ustaz Abu Bakar Al Baqir, founder of the religious institute, Madrasah Maahad Il Ihya Assharif in Gunung Semanggul, Perak.

Dr Burhanuddin worked in Singapore initially, but when the Japanese Military Administration for Sumatra and Malaya was incorporated, and its HQ moved to Taiping, Perak, so did Dr Burhanuddin. We should commend Haniff bin Sulaiman, a faithful Taiping KMM member for introducing Dr Burhanuddin to the public in Perak through talks and religious sermons. That made it easy for the Malay Nationalist Party (MNP), the successor of KMM, to gain a foothold in Perak, when Dr Burhanuddin founded it in 1945.

Dr Burhanuddin was a remarkable religious figure, who combined the logic of science and Islam most effectively. Before World War II, he was a schoolteacher in Singapore and dabbled in politics from a distance. He had written many protest letters to the press on the Israeli Occupation of Palestine, and was once arrested and detained in a Police lock up. Although not a KMM member, he was very influenced by it.

Ahmad Boestamam

According to a statement given to me dated 12 November 1975, Ahmad Boestamam, another great name in Malay left politics, joined KMM a couple of months before the Japanese invasion. He took over the post of Assistant Secretary from Abdullah Kamil, who had left Kuala Lumpur. Boestamam stated that although he was a member of the daily Majlis editorial board, led by Ibrahim Yaakub in Kuala Lumpur, he was never once invited by Ibrahim Yaakub to join KMM, although two other editorial board members (Abdul Samad Ahmad and Mohamad Salehuddin) were.

Endnotes To Chapter 18

British Police Officer J. Birch, who once served in Bagan Serai, Perak was sent to arrest me in Taiping, but the Japanese military’s speedy advance forced Birch to retreat. He diverted to Teluk Anson (now Teluk Intan), hoping to arrest Raja Yahaya, a Police Officer absent without leave, but Birch was unlucky to be in the Japanese way. He was killed.

******************************************

Okay, you have read Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s lecture on history, which I republished above. Now, compare Dr Mahathir’s version of history to mine. And, to support my version, I offer you just a very small extract from Mustapha Hussain’s book, Malay Nationalism Before Umno.

If you were to read the entire book (which I have), you will discover that the Malays united to fight for independence from Britain long before the Second Word War and long before Umno was born in 1946.

Then the British ‘created’ Umno. And I have also written about this, about ten years or so ago, which was published in Harakah, when I interviewed an ‘old boy’ of MCKK, Datuk Andika, who died a couple of years ago in Kuala Terengganu at the age of 100.

Datuk Andika related how he was encouraged and financed by the British to set up the first Umno branch in the state of Terengganu, which was in Dungun.

The British allowed Umno to campaign for Merdeka the length and breadth of Malaya. But when the KMM people did the same, the British detained them without trial.

In short, the Malays were already united long ago. And they were united against the British. But along came the British who created Umno. And the purpose of creating Umno was to split the Malays and kill KMM.

It was actually a very clever strategy. The British in fact did the same in the Ottoman Empire, if you were to study the history of Lawrence of Arabia. The British invented this marvelous strategy called ‘divide and rule’. And it worked all over the British Empire.

So, with due respect to Dr Mahathir, it was actually the other way around. Umno was the one that split the Malays. And, worse still, Umno split the Malays to serve British interests and as a British ‘running dog’. And now Umno grumbles that the opposition is splitting the Malays?

And let Royal History Professor Khoo Kay Khim prove me wrong.

Naturally the split is due to UMNO as there will be always a group of malay who could swim and another that cant ......

This "swim" thing is in relation to RPK s speech on the problems with some Malays

Pardon me friends of MT, and with a thousand apologies Raja Petra that I have to "tumpang" a posting I wrote in Pak Kadir's blog in case he holds it back. Written for the benefit of his readers whom I'll redirect if my entry/posting get gloss over. Again, my apologies and sincere thanks for taking up space.

[ Jam hampir pukul 3 pagi tetapi tak mengapa memandangkan saya tidak payah masuk kerja hari Jumaat, saya tetap mendebat pandangan para anon-anon yg menulis dgn tujuan jahat.

Ada anon yg memberi pendapat mengenai kes bangkai babi hutan yg dilontar kedalam perkarangan masjid, saya merasakan perlu saya meleteh sedikit dgn pendapat saya sendiri.

Kalau tak silap saya, babi hutan boleh dimakan kerana ianya halal, tapi janganlah makan pasal casper yg berkata tetapi sendiri tanyalah dgn yg berilmu ya.

Kini, saya pula yg nak bercerita tentang Raja Ular Putar Alam Dr.Mahathir yg kian lantang bersuara.

* Itu saja, tak payah lah menulis cerita bukan-bukan dikalangan anon-anon yg besar kemungkinan para ahli UMNO yg paling banyak songlap dana rakyat.

Disini saja tamat tulisan, tugas saya selesai buat pagi ini. Salam saya ucapkan kepada semua. ]

It took me about 40 minutes to write the above and I wasn't going to let it go to waste, didn't want to chance it, just in case my time and efforts goes to waste if posting was held back by blogmaster.

To those who understand Malay, read for your own amusement this rebut I wrote to counter the vile lies in Kadir Jasin't blog. There are some posters, the many anon's who leave their mark to incite those gullible. I feel it my duty to spend a little to send some back towards them.

Regards all and thank you for this imposition RPK. I trust you and better half are well. Do take care a perhaps take some time to regale us with tales of living without being detected, daily trials in the life of Marina and RPK. Should make for interesting reading.

When UMNO politicians speak, they do so at their own peril because whatever they say simply leaves them open to being ridiculed and put down.

Making up facts, giving excuses, stirring up tension.

Either they think the malaysian public is dumb, or they themselves are. We're doomed either way....

With information no more a premium and its dissemination out of UMNO's control, news and article such as is definitely cause for concern for those in the Evil Empire.

Up to this point I think we can all sense UMNO's demise, so to think, how much more ground can they lose or flip it the other way round, how is UMNO going to make up for lost ground ? I sense some rear guard action from within (news of jet engine theft is perhaps a feeble attempt to rouse the ground against Najib), that leaves UMNO doing the inevitable, create some mayhem to trigger an emergency.

Recent events would show that UMNO is not doing itself any favours. Burning of churches would cause anxiety across the board and that has me wondering, the only reason they are shooting themselves in the foot is just reminder to us of their presence, no more no less.

Having lost key states with only room for more lost, I wonder what the factions in UMNO are plotting next to unseat Najib ? Jokes aside - that is one heckuva burden, getting two for the price of one - Rosmah notwithstanding.

Assuming everything runs as schedule, I see UMNO or what is left of it, occupying the opposite aisle in Parliament in a role reversal. I take this opportunity to assure the bodoh's/ultra's that minority leader's are well capable of serving the interest of the majority.

A look through history would indicate there was indeed a period when an obscure Chinaman took on such a task. Little known but when the Brits abandon Malaya having been driven out from their last stand in S'pore, a gentleman by the name of Tan Chin Tuan was doing just that.

When the Union Jack was being lowered in S'pore, members of the Executive Council that ran the municipal were the last remaining form of British rule in Malaya. Tan Chin Tuan being a councilor fled to Perth together with all vestiges of govt. That choice of Perth, Australia is not hard to figure I guess due to her proximity to Malaya, and from there, this lone man was in constant communication with the British war cabinet, its commanders in India and anyone who would listen in effort to liberate Malaya.

During this period of Japanese Occupation, there was an active US Navy fleet in the Pacific but from history we know that this was the same fleet that Gen.MacArthur lead into the Philippines. As much as Tan Chin Tuan would have liked to pressure those high above the use of this fleet to confront Japanese forces in Malaya, that agenda wasn't a priority to the war commanders. Malaya was on its own and the CPM, the only active opposition that fought against Japanese invaders.

Effectively, this Chinaman was the civilian face of what was left of British rule in Malaya while history would also tell us that Tun Razak was working on the side of Japanese invaders. This is probably a morsel of history UMNO doesn't want to highlight, probably not incorporated into our history books, only to leave our school kids ignorant to pertinent fact of the era.

Why Tan Chin Tuan ? The man by all counts was a man of means, Chinese of Straits born pedigree and if you know your history, members of the Baba-Nyonya community had long made the Spice Island home for generations, who were also front runners of the rubber trade.

Unlike the many tycoons in the tin trade who had stronger ties to China, Straits born Chinese owed no allegiance to China or didn't wear it on their sleeves. They accumulated wealth and property derived from mercantile trade, only to prosper significantly during the first boom of the rubber trade in Malaya - their land holdings a convenient place to plant rubber trees by the thousands.

The wealth from the rubber trade can be seen all over today's economy. The OCBC group and members of the Lee clan(Lee Foundation rings a bell ?) are perhaps the poster child of wealth derived from that era still dominant today in S'pore as well as M'sia( F&N, Great Eastern, Keppel Shipyard and numerous trading houses, property holdings too various to mention).

Wealth can gow to past through generations if handled correctly, all of which makes me wonder what those in the UMNO clan, the few chosen one's have in mind for all their ill gotten gain ? We know the scions of Mahathir have a sizable stake in San Miguel Corp, Daim is all over Africa but what about the rest - Rafidah and her stolen millions, Taxi Boy and Son or even IGP Musa Hasan ??? Mana bawa lari ?

Who's are the real outsiders? Aren't you one of them, TDM? Does citizenship 'given' justify for generations of enslavement under your rule? I know, I know, you will say, "Go and blame your ancestors for 'signing' the Social Contract." If we knew about this Social Contract, do you think anyone born after Merdeka would choose to be born?

Say we're 'outsiders' are considered 2nd-class citizens under your NEP discrimination schemes, do we pay 2nd-class taxes and not oblige to bow down to you?

Shouldn't you, TDM and your bunch of cronies be brought up to the International Court for participating in Slavery (an entire nation) under the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in violation of article 1. all the way to article 30.

Why were Malaysians not aspired to succeed like the whites, instead been let to take a more negative attitude towards progression to be apart of this fast moving world..

Will we ever see the day when the truth of our history is dissimated to our younger generations? Will we be proud once again to be Malaysians? Will the Malays ever settle down to first see themselves as Muslims where Islam has in all its power in the teachings to grant a person the right way to live amongst others?

Yes, absolutely right, Dr. Mahathir, the Malays under Tengku Abdul Rahman's UMNO did struggle for our independence from the British. The Malays at that time were also quite inclusive of other races, and good muslims.

Then you came along. Your 22 years systematically transformed the UMNO Malays into extreme racists, taught them the art of corruption, and lead them completely astray from the Islamic way.

Don't try to associate your UMNO Baru and share glory with the original UMNO. They are completely different parties.

mad hater dilemma - to educate the Malays or not to educate the Malays ?
educate them then you have Malays who can think and reason for them selfs .
they become ungrateful and bite the hand that feeds them because they can reason
and see that what the authorities do is not right and so do not support their policies .
keep them from learning English !!! so that they cannot comprehend the books available
and thus can be "mind control" .
but what have you if this happens !!! Malays who are ignorant about the world and cannot
see beyond their noses, these Malays will not see that Umno and its cronies are robbing
the country blind and giving them peanuts in return.
unfortunately for mad hater the Enlightened Malays soon spread and multiplied and saw through
the evil scheme of umno.
umnoputra kept reaping the riches while the Malays in general are poor.
God has also given the Malays a brain and in time the Malays saw through the evil of umno and wanted change.
No one Divided the Malays but the Mad Hater and his privatisation enriching only his cronies and not the Malays in general.
mad hater repent before it is too late !!!

TO SUMMARISE IT ALL:

So, with due respect to Dr Mahathir, it was actually the other way around. Umno was the one that split the Malays. And now Umno grumbles that the opposition is splitting the Malays? And, worse still, Umno split the Malays to serve the British interest and as a British ‘running dog’.

SULTAN MAHMUD @ ISKANDAR OF JOHORE REST WITHOUT PEACE BUT RIP IN SHATTERED PIECES

The King is Dead. Long Live the King, so to speak

Iskandar was one of the worst of Malaysia's sultans, a violent, often brutal and impulsive man who seemingly knew no bounds to his behaviour. He was lucky to be a sultan at all.

Asia Sentinel

Malaysia has gone into mourning for the Sultan of Johor, Mahmud Iskandar Almarhum Sultan Ismail, who died Friday at 77. He was buried in an elaborate ceremony on Saturday. In Malaysia's oddball rotating kingship, which allows each of the country's nine sultans to wear the king's hat for five years, Iskandar became Malaysia's Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, or king, in 1984, relinquishing the title in 1989.

Najib Tun Razak, the prime minister, cut short a visit to India to extend his condolences and issue a statement: "On behalf of the government and people. I express sadness and extend condolences to Her Royal Highness Sultanah Zanariah and her children as well as the royal household on the demise of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Johor."

The massive Iskandar development project in Johor across from Singapore was named for him.

Muhyiddin Yassin, the deputy prime minister, said that Iskandar's death "is a big loss to the people of Johor, and also of Malaysia, because of his priceless contributions during his lifetime."

But it is difficult to see just what those priceless contributions were. Despite the encomiums, the Johor sultan embodied just about everything that was ill-starred about Malaysia's system of royalty.

Both The Star, owned by the Malaysian Chinese Association, and the New Straits Times, owned by the United Malays National Organisation, issued respectful obituaries. To most Malaysians, the New Straits Times said, "the Sultan will be remembered for his mercurial ways, as well as his inadvertent role in the constitutional crisis of 1993 which dramatically ended the legal immunity of the country's nine hereditary monarchs."

Iskandar's role was hardly inadvertent but it was certainly mercurial. In fact it was integral to it and it stemmed from his brutal beating, along with members of his staff, of a field hockey coach. And although the end of legal immunity was pushed through 17 years ago, today Malaysian royalty pretty much act any way they want without facing arrest. Several have left huge gambling debts in London casinos to be picked up by Malaysian state governments. Recently there have been incidents reported of fistfights between rival royals in Malaysian night clubs.

In recent months, in fact, UMNO, the country's leading political party, has led a charge to report to the police anyone who dares criticize the royalty. Several critics have been charged with sedition.

Iskandar was one of the worst of Malaysia's sultans, a violent, often brutal and impulsive man who seemingly knew no bounds to his behaviour. He was lucky to be a sultan at all. He was ignominiously dismissed as the Tunku Makhota, or prince regent of Johor, by his father, Sultan Ismail Ibrahim, in 1961 after he reportedly chained two policemen into a dog kennel for a day after they displeased him. He was later reported to have attacked a young couple with Mace after they allegedly offended him. In 1972, he was charged for Macing two men because their car had had overtaken his on the highway.

He regularly patrolled Johor roads with a red light and siren on the top of his Rolls Royce and a shotgun strapped to the dashboard, pulling over speeders and ordering them to perform enjut ketampi, the Malay term for squat jumps, until they fell over. Any driver who inadvertently passed the sultan's car on Johor's roads or obstructed him was subject to exorbitant fines. His staff was petrified by him. Once, at a diplomatic reception for example, he was seen to simply hold out his glass when it was empty and drop it as a terrified servant raced across the room to catch it before it shattered on the marble floor.

In 1971, he got into real trouble by shooting and killing a trespasser whom he took to be a smuggler walking near his private helicopter. He was charged with manslaughter but his father intervened, as the sultan did repeatedly at other times, and granted him a pardon despite his disapproval of his actions. Iskandar's family wasn't much better. His eldest son, Tunku Ibrahim Ismail, shot a man dead in a nightclub but was also pardoned.

There was considerable speculation in Kuala Lumpur that despite the fact that the kingship rotated on a set basis, his fellow sultans would block him because of his behaviour. But they elected him Agong in 1983. Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad promptly fomented a constitutional crisis by ramrodding through a series of actions in the Dewan Rakyat, or Parliament, that removed the power of the royalty to veto legislation, along with closing other loopholes within the Malaysian constitution.

That didn't slow down the sultan much. In 1987, after he became the Agong, he allegedly clubbed a caddy to death at the Cameron Highlands golf club for laughing when the sultan missed a putt. He also was said to have maimed the caddy's brother, who suffered a mental breakdown from seeing the incident and had to be restrained in a mental hospital.

Although the killing was given wide currency among Kuala Lumpur's political and social circles, Iskandar was never arrested. It remained out of the government-controlled press. It so distressed the retired Tunku Abdul Rahman, the country's first leader after independence, that he publicly condemned the assault without naming Iskandar. The Tunku, however, also pointed out that as a sultan, Iskandar was immune from prosecution.

In 1992, following Iskandar's departure from the kingship, his son, Tunku Abdul Majid Idris, assaulted the goalkeeper of the Perak hockey team after Perak won a match with a penalty stroke. The goalkeeper lodged a police report against the son, who ultimately was convicted and sentenced to a year in prison. The charges were dropped on grounds of immunity. Later the sultan himself was involved in the other field hockey controversy that finally made Malaysia say enough. He called a local coach to his palace over a minor dispute. He and his bodyguards assaulted the coach, who had to seek medical attention for injuries to his face and body. The coach also filed charges. This time, the press reported on both incidents.

Despite the fact that the sultan had won Mahathir's approval by firing Mahathir's nemesis, Tun Salleh Abbas, the highly respected lord president of Malaysia's highest court, which brought an end to the independence of the country's judiciary, the assaults were enough for the prime minister. He led a campaign in the parliament to remove legal immunity from prosecution for the royalty that passed resoundingly.

Iskandar reportedly finally calmed down in later years, and lived a life largely out of the public prints. None of his misdeeds made the Malaysian press after his death. One blog cheerily said he would "always be remembered as Malaysia's unconventional King. He preferred to drive his own car or pilot his own helicopter. He also loved sports, especially golf and was not afraid to lose in a game."

Or a caddy. He was called "a King with the common touch."

SARCASTICAL WAY OF GIVING GOOD EXAMPLES

A man came home from work and his children ran to him and called out ‘Ayah! Ayah!’.
His neighbor got very upset and said to him, “Can you please tell your children not to call you ‘Ayah’?”
The man asked, “Why?”
The neighbor retorted, “Because my children call me ’Ayah’ too. They might get confused and mistake you to be their father.”
Then the man told his neighbor, are you not ashamed to say that your children do not know who is their 'Ayah'.
So you are saying by using the word 'Ayah' ,your children will call me ayah too without knowing who is their father?
The neighbour said yes, only my children should use the word 'Ayah'.

The man said, then there is something wrong in what you are teaching your children. They are not sure and do not know who their 'Ayah' is !!

RAJA ZALIM RAJA DI SUMPAH

1.But then I read many commentaries and analysis of Malaysia's history especially during his tenure as Agong. First, he was alleged to have assaulted a golf caddy and caused the latter's death, simply because the latter laughed at him after seeing HRH miss a golf hole. The incident was promptly noted by the then Prime Minister Dr Mahathir, but he did not take any action again the HRH. A great expert of manipulation and maneuver in politics, Dr Mahathir exploited HRH's vulnerability when needed. The moment came in 1988 when Dr Mahathir wanted to sack the Lord President Salleh Abas, who headed the judiciary that had become an obstacle in Dr Mahathir's fight with his strong opponent Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah. HRH, who was then the Agong, complied and sacked Salleh Abas. That was the moment when Malaysia's judiciary, which at that time enjoyed worldwide respect for its integrity and sound judgements, took a dramatic turn and started its disastrous decline until today. You can almost say the rot started then, under the hand of HRH.

HRH had failed to discharge his duty as the Agong to protect the judges from interference of the Executive. This failure of HRH was confirmed when HRH invited Salleh Abas to the Johor palace four years after the incident and sought Salleh Abas's forgiveness, according to Salleh Abas himself.

(The recent book, Malaysian Maverick, by Barry Wain has a detailed account of what has transpired then. Or visit Wikipedia.)

There is no love lost between the late sultan and his rakyat. Why should we mourn for someone who could not careless about the rakyat's welfare?? He was not compassionate, he was not kind to us, he was self-centered, he was arrogant, he was unreasonble..He was everthing rakyat hate to remember him by....

There goes another distorted soul who leaves nothing worth mentioning after his demise...what a waste of time, what a waste of glomourous, luxurious life he left behind........

I remember there was a case when some hockey coach was thrown into a dog cage for not including someone's nephew/relative in the state's hockey team. Anyone can recall this incident ?

I don't want to be a hypocrite. Neither am I one. My heart feels NOTHING! Glimpses of doctor shot at in the 60s, caddy boy's death, hockey master wacked, dan lain-lain. BUSINESS AS USUAL!
