A case of "pot calling the kettle black". Mahathir claims that during his time of 22 years, Petronas paid the government RM126 billion but during Pak Lah's 5 years, Petronas paid the government a total of RM270 billion. Any inflationary factors considered? However, Mahathir fails to detail how both he and Pak Lah used up the monies. Wasn't the Mahathir's government broke at one time, and were compelled to get monies from Daim Zainuddin to pay public servants' wages, and inturn Daim received lucrative plots at Jln Cochrane quarters and the rest of those areas. Any accountability? Mahathir, you will burn in hell for all your lusts and quests, all ill-gotten. You ingat kita semua Maha-bodoh kah?

Good to know that the Bapa Rasuah Malaysia has admitted with regards to his involvement in some of the significant losses suffered by the country. But what about his role in Perwaja, in the bailout of his son's shipping company using taxpayers' money, the failed Multi-Media Corridor; the PetronasTwin Tower white elephant? I also believe he is the ultimate mover in the PKFZ scandal, just as in the Lingam's case, if only we have a competent AG, and one who has not been politically-compromised.

He introduced negotiated tender for all his projects to rob through exorbitant mark-ups at the expense of the taxpayers. At the same time, he introduced OSA to hide details of these contracts from public scrutiny by the very taxpayers who financed these projects as if the money belonged to him. Why didn't he continue with the open tender system and be transparent by opening up all records during his time or have a Freedom of Information Act during his 22 years? Why the need to classify and declassify records that belong to the people? Only crooks need to hide.

Some people have double standards. On the one hand they want democracy and free speech, condemn their leaders and everything else, but on the other hand they dismiss a very Undemocratic , very very undemocratic country as a first world country and as such no corruption means no problem, be undemocratic, police state and you go to jail for even throwing a piece of paper on the road. I can't help but laugh at the customs when they dived into my console box in my car and grabbed my chewing gum, and proudly confiscated it, with a job well done on their faces. Which part is Mahatir wrong ? What he said is true, go on prove him wrong. And about Singapore, I bet my life, Barry Wain will never, never write anything about their " Incorruptible Leaders " Least he wants to be bankrupt. Just so you know, a very famous opposition leader in Singapore, spent donkey years getting out of bankruptcy, and died few months later. So I challenge all of you, prove Mahatir wrong, don't just talk.

Here we go again, this' maveric'k is trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Can he make available to the public all the working papers an all the financial documents for all those projects he listed above? Can he also divulge who are the contractors assigned to undertake all these projects? Why was MAS kept losing millions year in and year out during this 'maverick's'reign? Why did the govt buy back MAS an ailing company if not already bankrupt then under Tajuddin by overpaying him?Why were contracts given to companies which never had any construction experience who in turn sub-contracted them to others while enjoying millions if not billions doing nothing?Who are these people?Monorail, LRT are failed projects, how efficient these projecst been in improving our public transportation system, and who are those CEOs of these companies? How about Perwaja Steel,Bakun dam?Come on show us the exact figures lost in these grandiose projects and many more white elephant projects.Dont side track.Y d OSA?

I agree with PM Moey. Let's also not forget Putrajaya. Talk about a white elephant! And the money we are now spending lighting it up every night -- a virtual ghost town. Who's going to see it? Why does Mahathir ask Wain to write about Singapore? It's totally irrelevant. It's Mahathir's usual tactic of diverting from the real issue, which in this case is the RM100 billion issue. Mahathir is a master at such diversion -- as well as blaming other people. And having a selective memory. I ask you all, which past PM has been so publicly reviled while still alive? What does it tell you about the man?

Hey Mahathir, the allegations are against you and you should answer them and not try to divert attention to your hand-picked successor Tun Abdullah Badawi or the fact that the writer is a Singapore-based persona. You have been accused, now defend yourself - the best way is in an open court that you have helped corrupted - don't tell me you are even afraid of your own judges?

There hs goes again shakesphere will turn in his grave-a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury signifying, has he ever admitted that he was wrong?

"It is safe for journalists to impute all kinds of misbehaviour by Malaysian leaders. There have been many cases where the courts have found in favour of the journalists," he added. That's strange. How can that be if they are not saying the truth?

How can we have a lop-sided toll concession with the UMNO-linked contractors that every single person that drives on Malaysian road has to pay toll fees for 30 years? In one instance on Kajang-Cheras toll highway, the collection in 3 years is already enough to pay for the cost of construction. Yet we still have to pay toll fee for another 27 years. Even my daughter still have to pay for the toll years after my time is up to meet the Creator. Her children may still have to pay for the tolled road that they use before the contract expires. This is how terrible we are in Malaysia.

3 generations of blood sucking on Malaysian tolled roads.

You have messed up 3 generations, dried up the Malaysian Treasury messed up the judiciary and all, I ask you now what more do you want to mess up.Live the few years that is left and say bye2 peacefully. We the citizens of this country have had enough of you.

His modus operandi to rob through inflated project contracts was to give a Letter of Award to a crony who had no track record whatsoever which price included 20%, 30% or even 100% markup for a so called 'UMNO FUND'. The sub contractor who is the one with the qualifications and expertise will receive this markup thro the MOBILISATION PAYMENT released by the Government upfront before the contract is carried out. No audit or examination by an independent party is done on the costing. The markup is remitted to either the local company bank account of the crony or to an overseas bank account. This man will not reveal all the dirt whereby the bigger the contracts awarded the richer they became at the expense of the rakyat. Priority areas were neglected. It was projects, projects, projects. Ever wonder why during his time there were so many overseas trips by him and his 'ENTOURAGE' of cronies/ contractors who went on so-called ' foreign investment trips' also at the rakyat' expense.

This was the PM who was also Home Minister who did not do his job even as Home Minister. The crime situation soared during his tenure and taxpayers have to now even employ foreign guards to guard our homes. GAJI BUTA MINISTER.

Mahathir is up to his old tricks again, first trying to divert the attention trying to find faults at Badawi and now he asks the writer why not write on Singapore leaders! But Mahathir, don't you realise that what we are interested to know now is not what other people do, but rather, what have you got to say about the RM100 billion that the writer alleged that your actions had cost the nation! I believe you must have read his book, so please answer them squarely and don't bring in any other issues which we are not interested to know.
